| Commercial Applications
Our metallic coatings can be field-applied on standing seam
metal roofs, mansards, or walls, and on various substrates
such as wood, metal, masonry, mineral surface roofing, granular
and clay emulsion surfaces and on composition shingles.
In factory production it can be applied to metal substrates
of aluminum or galvanized metal.
Our Metallic Copper Coating provides a long-life copper
finish without the limitations, expense or maintenance problems
of copper sheets. Our Metallic Coating is a liquid, specifically
formulated with acrylic resins and pure ground copper, which
cures to form an elastomeric membrane.
Coverage on smooth surfaces is approximately 200 sq. ft.
per gallon 3 mil film. Two coats are required with a cross
hatch application. Products should not be applied in freezing
conditions. If our antique solution is to be applied, the
first coat of Metallic Coating should be cured. The application
of the Patina should be applied to the second coat just
before it dries. This is dependent on temperature and humidity.
Apply a mist of the antique solution at a rate of 250 to
350 sq. ft. per gallon.
